Sachin Tendulkar and and Maria Sharapova are all set to figure in an advertisement which will be featured globally.

This ‘union’ is set to come through after Tendulkar has been signed by Asia’s leading sports agency, the World Sports Group (WSG), for global promotions in what is believed to be a staggering deal worth crores.

To start with, WSG will promote Tendulkar for one the world’s leading camera equipment companies for which Sharapova is the only other sports ambassador.

WSG CEO Venu Nair refused to confirm or deny the new development. “I have no comments to make,” he said. Experts in the field have termed Tendulkar’s latest international deal as a huge step, both in terms of his popularity and economics.
